about Me
I am a 5th year art teacher at E. L. Wright. I received my BFA in Media Arts and MA in Teacher Education- Art Education from The University of Tennessee. My yearlong internship placement was at Halls Middle School (2011-2012) in Knoxville, Tennessee. I also taught at Christenberry Elementary and Karns High School during my rotation placements.
I am very excited to introduce my students to a variety of media in my class and help them develop into well rounded and creative individuals.
I am originally from Knoxville, Tennessee. I have two precious cats named Piper and Westley and a computer engineer husband named Max. In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors: hiking, running, mountain biking or swimming. I also enjoy reading. I love learning new things and continuing my education through the education of my students.
